Today I have been to Heaven. I didn't get there for the sunrise (as shown in the picture above), but I watched the clouds create patterns in the sky and aspen leaves sift to the ground like snow flakes. It is my most beautiful place on earth because my father walked the forest and his father before him and his father before him. My children and my children's children run in the woods, chasing squirrels, looking for wild bunnies and gathering huckleberries. Six generations have loved the earth and received of its power. The land connects us to one another and gives us a sense of place - our own Heaven.

  1. It is truly a piece of "heaven on earth" in the Teton Basin of Idaho. Our family heritage land, homesteaded by ancestors, loved by posterity... What a blessing it is to have a refuge from the world in the form of a cozy family cabin in this place! Thank you, Mom, for instilling in us a sense belonging and being connected to a legacy of love.

  2. Heavenly Place is in Cedron, Idaho on the Idaho side of Jackson Hole. (The Idaho side is the most beautiful!!)
