First thing every day, I read my scriptures. If I put it off until other tasks are done, I never get to it. My reading brings me joy, and I make a conscious effort to keep that feeling with me through the day. My days are different, but all are wonderful when I succeed in keeping my joy.

Our joy comes in many ways. What are your joys?

Joy

We comes from within, not from without

Joy

Have you ever met someone and asked them how they were doing? Some will tell you they're great. Others will just say I'm okay. Some in this second group never say anything different. They are always just okay.

Can we take time to find real joy in our lives? What a blessing joy is to me. I don't always feel joy, but I love the feeling when I have it. And if I take the time to get myself right with God and my fellowmen, I am joyful.

When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38:7

Mercy

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. Psalms 103:17-18

I find comfort in the words 'everlasting to everlasting. It means forever to me. I am grateful.

My Imperfections

Even when I mess up, God is there for me. If anyone knows that, David does. It gives me greata comfort to know the Lord is merciful.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Psalms 103:8

Daily Meditation

David is constantly singing the praises of the Lord. I love my daily meditation where I can praise my God.

Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen. Psalms 89:52

Love of God

Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. Psalms 72:18

I love David's writings because he has a gratitude for God that isn't found elsewhere in the scriptures. There are days when I feel an overwhelming love for God, and the words of David say when I am feeling.

God is my Glory

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Psalms 62:7

Where would I be without my God? I'm so grateful that He is part of my life.

Sing Praise

Do you even feel an overwhelming gratitude to God for giving you life and family and surroundings?
Well, I do. That's when I love reading David's beautiful writing in Psalms that's still applicable today.

So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows. Psalms 61:8

My Favorite

Today has been a favorite day for me. I've visited three temples. How can anything be more wonderful than that? I bask iin the Spirit when it's near.

This Easter Season
